Food Processing:

GPP has four new food and post-harvest coating products currently being tested by prospective customers for market introduction:

• A coating for French fries which reduces the fat uptake of fries by up to 35% without affecting flavor.

Agriculture:

• A post-harvest product that prevents skinned "new potatoes" from turning brown or gray during shipment to market.

• Biodegradable mulch paper to replace black plastic.

• Biodegradable Plastic wrapping for hay bales.

Paper Industry:

• Coatings to water and grease-proof butchers paper and burger wrapping paper.
